Negative: 108,473
Positive: 2,136
Deaths: 84
Greenbrier County: 9 (7 Recovered, 2 Active)
Monroe County: 8 ( Recovered, 1 Active)
As always our hearts and prayers go out for the swift recovery of those afflicted. We pray for those who have lost loved ones in this pandemic. And we pray for God to bring peace now during these tumultuous times of unrest. We must strive toward a time when all men-kind is simply called forth upon their merits/demerits, and not upon the color of their skin. Those of us with a bit of age upon ourselves remember the marches of Dr. Martin Luther King,, Malcolm X, and oh so many others all crying out for equality. At this time, we are thrown back 50-60 years ago. There are those of us who remember the rioting of the 1960's. The blood of those lost during those times of old cries out for peace. When will we ever learn? Color of skin should never be a matter for a country whose ancestors cry out, "...that all men are created equal".
