WV DHHR COVID-19 UPDATE - 22 October 2020

Hello all! So nice for you to drop by. Here we are with Thursday's COVID-19 update. You will note that the positive cases continue to rise, as well as the death rate. The STATE was up 5. One of those individuals died in Greenbrier County.

Also, I just read where Fauci quoted the CDC that we will have to wear masks through 2021, and possibly through part, if not all, of 2022. So, this isn't over, and it's not showing signs of leaving yet. Stay tuned, and I will do my best to keep you updated. With that, here is the report as of this morning:

Deaths:          418 ( up 5)                            4 ( up 1)                           8

Please remember to wear a mask when leaving home; make sure it covers your nose and your mouth. Practice Social Distancing (6-feet between you and anyone else). Frequent handwashing with soap and water (even when at home). If soap and water are unavailable, be sure to use hand sanitizer, or wear protective gloves. Together we can make a difference.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Thursday. It's sunny and warm here today. Time to sit outside and breathe a bit while we can. Winter is coming! The trees here were colorful for about 2-weeks, and already the pretty leaves are brown, and falling from the branches.  Did I tell you that I disliked the cold? I'm really happy with temps of about 80-degrees. What's your favorite weather?

Have a blessed afternoon! I'll be back tomorrow with your updates. Bye-bye!
