Verse of the Day

 Before we read the Verse of the Day for today, let's take a look at yesterday's verse of the day:

Ephesians 6:12

'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood; but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.'

I you are keeping up with the news, you will see this wickedness. It is coming toward us in many ways: police officers, political leaders including our mayors and governors; even our senators and congressmen who are shaping our country, and our President and Vice-President. With the elections coming in just a few weeks, how is a Christian supposed to vote, to live, in such a realm as we do now?

Today's verse of the day tells us how:

Ephesians 6:12

'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood; but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.'

But don't lose hope! How do we combat dark spiritual things? Get on your knees and pray. Listen for the Word of God to lead and guide you. Do God's Will in all things. Ascertain whether something a leader says is of God, or from a dark place. Vote. Speak out. Pray. PRAY. PRAY!
