Good Morning West Virginia Lovers!
I have the latest update from DHHR this morning. It is very confusing! Please remember that I can only report what figures they have listed! There are 2 of the figures that are completely impossible, the death reports for Greenbrier and Monroe Counties. Both show a lower Death toll than we saw yesterday. This is the death total for each county! Again, I will make note of this errors on the table, and remember, I can only report what I see. With that being said, here is the report:
Tested Positive Deaths
WV 2,268,871 134,496 (up 338) 2,338 (up 8)
Greenbrier Co. 45,869 1,707 (no change) 52 (down 1 - ???)
Monroe Co. 19,384 825 (up 2) 14 (down 2 - ???)
Summers Co. 19,480 591 (no change) 23 (no change)
Please remember to wear a mask that fits when leaving home. Make sure it covers both nose and mouth. Make sure you are wearing it correctly, according to manufacturer directions. Wash hands frequently with soap and running water. If these are unavailable, you may use hand sanitizer until they are available. Maintain social distancing when you leave home. Do not congregate into groups, even of one or two.
