There is still a lot of confusion regarding whether or not those who have been vaccinated should be able to go without a mask or not. The CDC stated yesterday that it would be up to local businesses to decide whether or not to mandate use of a mask in their business setting. And Dr. Fauci made the statement that it would be up to state and local government to decide. As for me, I'm going to continue to wear a mask, even when told it was okay to go without. I have lung problems and I'm just not going to endanger my health. On the flip side, I am not going to be vaccinated unless my physician, and the government states I have to be vaccinated. I, personally, don't believe they have done enough trials on the vaccine to allow us to make an informed decision on whether or not to get it. And some of the side effects, well, I can do without unless I absolutely must have it!

Due to the current upheaval on the legalities of whether or not those who have been vaccinated should wear a mask or not when in public, it has always been my advice to "if in doubt" continue with the last known law, and be watching for any new developments.
So, use your own best judgement if you have doubts.

The WV DHHR has restyled their information, and I have to tell you, it's causing a bit of a conundrum for me! I'm not able to locate all of the information we were getting before today! **** In case you haven't heard this, the CDC is now saying that individual states can agree that persons who have had BOTH of the vaccines should be allowed to not wear masks in certain areas. The legal logistics are still being worked out, so don't jumpt the gun here. As soon as I hear more, I will, of course, let all of you know. But perhaps we are looking for the end of the pandemic to come sooner, rather than later! If you haven't yet received the two part vaccine, please check out the DHHR's website for where and when to get your vaccine; or call your local DHHR for testing in your area.
For now, continue to wear a face mask when leaving home. Make sure it covers both nose and mouth. Make sure children wear a mask specifically made for a child.
